.gif) Hi! Welcome to the FM 100 website. I am Karen Perrin, half of the FM 100 Morning Show…I like to think the better half! J I have been working with Ron Olson, for what some days seems like forever, but it’s really only been 14 years if you can believe that!
I was born here in Memphis, I graduated from Overton High School and then went on the graduate from the University of Alabama, Roll Tide! However, I must clarify and have always been, and always will be, a Memphis Tigers fan! Right after college, I started working at TV 5 as a cameraperson/greeter, and then I became a producer at what was then Sports Talk 790. I joined the FM 100 Promotions department while doing morning features on 790. Then, I eventually added on-air overnight shifts here at FM 100 to my list of duties. That led to fulltime position on the FM 100 Morning show. Along with hosting duties on the air, I enjoy working with many area organizations, including Make-A-Wish, the American Heart Association, Race for the Cure, the Komen for the Cure Foundation and Ryan’s Hope.
I am married and have two sons: Zachary and Walker. They enjoy soccer, baseball and t-ball. So now my hobbies are baseball, soccer and t-ball!
